Installation
- Height and spacing requirements: The height of the busbar from the ground shall not be less than 3.5m. In the part where cars pass, the height of the busbar from the ground shall not be less than 6m. The distance between the busbar and equipment and oxygen pipelines shall not be less than 1.5m, the distance from flammable gas and liquid pipelines shall not be less than 3m, and the distance from general pipelines shall not be less than 1m.
- Bracket installation: The bracket must not be installed at the junction of the building expansion joint and the track beam, and should be firmly installed on the same horizontal or vertical plane. Insulators and insulating sleeves must not have defects such as cracks and mechanical damage. The surface should be clean and the insulation performance should meet national standards.
- Busbar layout: The contact surface should be flat and free of rust, and have good conductivity. The installation of bare busbars should be carried out according to the design requirements. When there is no design requirement, the net distance between adjacent conductive parts and between conductive parts and grounded parts of busbars with a rated voltage of less than 0.5kV shall not be less than 30mm.
- Telescopic compensation device: When the length of the steel busbar exceeds 50m or crosses the expansion joint of the building, a telescopic compensation device should be installed. The telescopic compensation device should be installed on the bracket closest to the expansion joint of the building. At the telescopic compensation device, a gap of 10mm-20mm should be left on the busbar, and the busbar ends on both sides of the gap should be processed to be smooth.
Safety protection
- Protective device: Protective device should be installed on the busbar side to prevent the trolley from contacting the busbar due to the swing of the hoist or wire rope when it is at the extreme end position.
- Color and marking: The busbar should be painted red safety color and safety marking should be set at appropriate locations.
- Avoid getting close to other live parts: Try to avoid getting too close to other live parts, and keep a certain safety distance
Maintenance
- Regular inspection: Check regularly whether the connection points of the busbars are firm, whether the installation is straight, the use of the collector, including the wear of the brushes, whether the fasteners are loose, displaced, worn, etc.
- Cleaning and maintenance: Clean the busbar regularly to remove dust, loose sediment, stubborn dirt, etc. Use appropriate cleaning agents and tools, and avoid using inappropriate cleaning agents to avoid damaging the busbar.
- Strengthen inspection in special environments: For environments with large deviation in coincidence, gauge, track inclination, frequent use, excessive dust in the workshop, high temperature, water, acid, alkali, fog, outdoor use, etc., daily inspection and maintenance should be strengthened.
Other aspects
- Grounding protection: The busbar support should be reliably grounded
- Insulation resistance requirements: The insulation resistance between the busbar and the cable and between each phase and the ground must be greater than 0.5MΩ
- Equipment abnormality handling: When equipment powered by busbars experiences abnormalities, the relevant operators should promptly understand the situation and notify the project manager. Major situations should be reported to higher authorities and local governments in a timely manner.
